Escamonda Wins 2010 Proinn Construct
Stakes - 03/12/2010
Jockey Robbie Fradd landed an early birthday
present when Escamonda took out the $175,000 Group 3 Proinn
Construct Stakes over 1700m on the Polytrack on Friday
night.
The South African rider teamed again with trainer
Patrick Shaw to capture a third successive trophy race in the space
of a week.
Riding the pace throughout, Escamonda responded
well to Fradd’s urgings to record a length victory over Superb (Soo
Khoon Beng) with Clint (Ronnie Stewart) a nose back in third place.

After the success of the inaugural running of
the Proinn Construct Stakes last December, we look forward to the
second running of the Group 3 race on Friday December
3rd2010.
It is our aim to further develop synthetic
surfaces, providing a safe, nonbiased surface for all equestrian
sport, that is easy to manage and cost effective for our clients.
Our primary focus has always been, and still remains, the reduction
of injury rates within equine sport.
We again
acknowledge the professionalism of the Singapore Turf Club in all
aspects of equine sport and thank them for their
support.
Equestrian Events Underway at 2010
Youth Olympics Singapore - 23/08/2010
Equestrian events are under-way at the
Singapore Riding Centre for the 2010 Youth Olympics. Group
competition started on the 18th of August and individual
competition began yesterday, the 22nd of August.

the Proinn Construct Stakes over 1700 metres.

Stakes
It is
with great pleasure that we can announce the inaugural running of
the Proinn Construct Stakes on the 4th of December 2009, at the
Singapore Turf Club.
The
race is over 1700m with $175, 000.00 in prize money and will be run
on the Polytrack surface constructed by ourselves.
We have
been very honoured to work with the Singapore Turf Club having
constructed Track 4 (training); Track 7 (training); Track 2 (racing
and training) and the arenas for the Equestrian Centre which will
be used for the 2010 Youth Olympics.
With
the construction of the uphill gallop now in progress, we are
pleased that this superb working relationship
continues.
The
construction and maintenance of surfaces for equine sport is by no
means easy and we feel that it is not just the surface, the company
that constructs it or the people who maintain it that results in
its success.
The
success in our opinion is due to all the above factors coupled with
professional management, top class trainers and jockeys, excellent
veterinarians and the ability of all those involved in working
together, discussing and analysing all situations and having the
desire to produce the best surface possible for the horse to
perform on, minimising injury potential and maximising competitive
racing and or equine sport. This, we are so happy to say has
been achieved in Singapore.
We
continue to dedicate both time and resources to our research and
development and this coupled with our surface monitoring and
testing and the invaluable feedback from our clients, will only
lead to further improvements.

Turf Club Uphill Gallop - 22/05/2009
 
Proinn
Construct Pty. Ltd. are pleased to announce that they have been
awarded the contract to construct the new uphill gallop at Kranji
for the Singapore Turf Club. The Gallop will be 1000m long and
rises at differing gradients along its length.
